Luke Rockhold open to facing Michael Bisping, but 'Cung Le is probably going to kick his ass'

In the first part of BloodyElbow.com's interview with Luke Rockhold, the former Strikeforce champion says he's been interested in facing Michael Bisping, but he may not need to after Cung Le 'kicks his ass'.

Michael Bisping has laid out his immediate plans in an earlier interview, and that includes defeating Cung Le, and 'shutting up' Luke Rockhold en-route to that elusive title shot he's been looking for. The former Strikeforce champion does share a similar sentiment towards the Brit, and things can get interesting as he will be cageside in Macau for the event.

"I'm looking forward to the fight," Rockhold told BloodyElbow.com, stating that he will be watching intently on how the main event in Macau unfolds, while also rooting for his friend in Cung.

"It would be fun," he said of a potential bout against Bisping. "We could sell it and it would be interesting. The fans would like to see it, and whatever they want to see I would be up for, although I do want a number 1 contender's fight."

While he has wanted to face Bisping for some time now, Rockhold says a potential grudge match against the Brit may not even need to happen if things go as he predicts.

"Bisping would be fun since he has ran his mouth so much in the past, and I would love to shut him up. I want those big fights and it would be cool to shut Bisping's mouth along the way," he continues, "I think this would be my only opportunity. If he did win, it would be now. So maybe I should take advantage of that."

"BUT, like I said, he's got to win and Cung Le is probably going to kick his ass."

Part 2 of our interview will be up soon, where Rockhold talks about the troubling state of PED's in the sport, and preferring 'powder on his butt, than steroids in it'.
