The UFC 157 Facebook prelims closed out with the third consecutive Welterweight bout of the night between Kenny Robertson (12-2) and Brock Jardine (9-3). It only took Robertson 3 minutes to secure one of the most creative submissions UFC fans are likely to see this year. Robertson improved to 1-2 in the UFC, while Jardine dropped to 0-2.

Robertson easily passed Jardine's guard after an early takedown. Jardine bellied down and exposed his back to start his escape from the bottom. Bad move as Robertson took his back and sank in the hooks. When Jardine posted his left leg to stand up, Robertson grabbed it and pulled. The move hyper-extended Jardine's hamstring and won Robertson the submission victory.

What was the high point of the fight?

Pretty obviously the submission. Robertson showed great positional awareness and was ready when Jardine made his fatal mistake.

Where do they go from here?

This fight could have easily been billed as a "loser leaves town" match. Fortunately for Robertson, he's the one that came out on top and he did it in style.

Sadly for Jardine, he 's on the wrong side of that coin. He's now lost both his UFC fights and will most likely be released.

Watch it now, later, or never?

Watch it right now, you want to check out this submission.
