Darren Till will look to bounce back following his unanimous decision loss to Robert Whittaker at UFC on ESPN 14 last month when he takes on Jack Hermansson later this year, but ‘The Gorilla’ will have the odds stacked against him.
Till, who is 2-3 in his last five fights, has opened as the +125 underdog against surging middleweight contender Hermansson, who is the -145 favorite, per sports betting website Best Fight Odds.
Till slipped to #6 in the official UFC middleweight rankings following his loss to Whittaker, while Hermansson stormed into the top-five with his first-round submission victory over Kelvin Gastelum at UFC Fight Island 2. ‘The Joker’ submitted Gastelum with a heel hook in the co-main event.
Prior to the Gastelum bout, however, Hermansson suffered a second-round TKO loss to Jared Cannonier at UFC Fight Night 160.
