Darren Till is officially out of UFC Fight Night 185 after suffering an undisclosed injury in training.

Till, 27, was expected to fight Jack Hermansson in the main event but was forced to withdraw from the contest earlier this week. Kevin Holland will step in as Till’s replacement and take on Hermansson in the new UFC Fight Night 185 main event on Dec. 5 at a to be determined location.

‘The Gorilla’ didn’t reveal any details regarding his injury but wished Hermansson and Holland the best of luck and announced that he plans to return to the UFC in 2021.

“Good luck to both guys,” Till wrote. “I’ll be back next year. I hope Kevin gets to showcase himself against one of the top guys of the division… he’s as game as they come!”

Till is 1-3 in his last four fights and was hoping to rebound from his loss to Robert Whittaker at UFC on ESPN 14, which saw the Liverpudlian drop a unanimous decision to ‘The Reaper’ earlier in July. Till is currently #6 in the UFC middleweight rankings.
