You can watch UFC 246: Conor McGregor vs. Donald Cerrone right here on ESPN+.
The event, which sees the return of Conor McGregor, goes down at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV tonight. Greeting McGregor back to the cage is Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone.
UFC 246 sees Conor McGregor fight inside of an Octagon for the first time since he lost to Khabib Nurmagomedov in October, 2018. In the time he has been away McGregor has plead guilty to assault, settled a case of destruction of property, and been accused — by the New York Times — as being the subject of two separate sexual assault investigations.
McGregor, the UFC, and even his opponent, have expressed their desires to have these issues underplayed and ignored. However, that doesn’t mean these issues no longer exist. No matter what happens in the cage at UFC 246, questions will remain over McGregor’s recent conduct and the legal issues that have swirled around him in the past year.
Supporting the main card of UFC 246 is a rematch in the women’s bantamweight division; Holly Holm vs. Raquel Pennington. The last time these two met, in 2015, Holm took an uneasy split decision victory over Pennington. Rounding out the pay-per-view are matches between Alexey Oleinik and Maurice Greene (heavyweight), Anthony Pettis vs. Carlos Diego Ferreira (lightweight) and Brian Kelleher vs. Ode Osbourne (bantamweight). Alexa Grasso vs. Claudia Gadelha had been scheduled for the PPV, but that was called off yesterday after Grasso missed weight — badly.
The headline bout for the ESPN prelim card is Bloody Elbow’s Roxanne Modafferi versus Maycee Barber in the flyweight division. Before that duel Andre Fili will clash with Sodiq Yusuff at featherweight, Tim Eilliot will meet Askar Askarov at flyweight, and Drew Dober will engage Nasrat Haqparast in the lightweight division.
The early prelims, on ESPN+ (and Fight Pass outside the U.S.) offer two fights tonight. Those are Aleksa Camur vs. Justin Ledet (light heavyweight) and Sabina Mazo vs. J.J. Aldrich (flyweight).
