MMA Squared: Max Holloway is a gift, this is how I’d make a promo video for UFC 236

If I could do the marketing for UFC 236 it would start with a closeup of his eyes, and some dramatic string music.

Then the camera would zoom out and a famous actor would start naming all the fighters he’s defeated on his win streak (this is in keeping with the current marketing style. I’m not an anarchist)

Then Max’s hand would gesture down the way he did against Ricardo Lamas, but it would point down at UFC 236. Then the music would explode and we’d see the final ten seconds of the Lamas fight and fade to black while the date of the fight came up with HOLLOWAY vs POIRIER 2: It’s on.

I’m just so excited to see the guy fight every damn time. Enjoy the fights this weekend, take care of yourself and I’ll talk to you next week. Chris.
