Darren Till is fired up ahead of his upcoming welterweight bout against Jorge Masvidal at UFC Fight Night 147, as ‘The Gorilla’ recently called out several fighters on Twitter.
Starting with Rafael dos Anjos and Santiago Ponzinibbio, the Liverpudlian called them ‘scared’ rats and accused both men of ducking him.
Till, 26, then switched his attention to UFC newcomer Ben Askren, who will make his UFC debut against Robbie Lawler on March 2nd, and No. 1 welterweight contender Colby Covington.
Till’s profanity-laced tirade first caught the attention of former lightweight champ dos Anjos, who called Till a ‘tap machine’ for tapping to Tyron Woodley at UFC 228.
Ben Askren was next to respond, as the former ONE FC and Bellator welterweight champ insulted Till for his ‘low IQ’ and sub-par fighting skills.
Till, who hasn’t fought since his submission loss to ‘The Chosen One’, will look to spring back into the winner’s column at UFC Fight Night 147, where he meets Masvidal in the main event. The event takes place on March 16 at the O2 Arena in London, England.
