Video: Ryan Bader KO’s Fedor Emelianenko in 35 seconds at Bellator 214

Bellator 214 crowned a new 265 pound champion when Ryan Bader dusted Fedor Emelianenko in a swift 35 seconds of the the heavyweight Grand Prix finals. The main event didn’t last very long as Bader dropped Fedor with massive left hook, and then finished off the MMA legend with ground strikes. Bader is now Bellator’s light heavyweight and heavyweight champion.

Round 1 - Both fighters are showing respect for one another. Bader leaps in with a jab but misses. Lots of bouncing from Bader, Emelianenko is holding his ground. Bager darts forward with a long lightning left hook that drops Emelianenko like a sack of potatoes. One followup right hand and a couple left hammer fists seal the deal. Bader snatches the heavyweight championship and Grand Prix title from “The Last Emperor”.
