Manny Pacquiao (61-7-2, 39 KOs) easily dispatched Adrien Broner (33-4-1-1 NC, 24 KOs) in the eyes of everyone except Adrien Broner, who thought he won the fight. Luckily, Broner isn’t a judge, and the actual scorers all saw it clearly in Pacquiao’s favor, much to the delight of more than 13,000 pro-Pacquiao fans at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Here’s our play-by-play of round 7, which saw Broner badly hurt:
Round 7 - Pacquiao returns to the body attack. Broner gets out of the way of a Pacquiao left hand. Pacquiao with the flurry as he chases after Broner and gets in two clean punches. Good change-up shot by Pacquiao catches Broner off-guard. Broner with a decent jab. Pacquiao sweeps a left hand across the face of Broner. Big left hand and Pacquiao tees off on Broner as he holds on! Broner was hurt there. Big shots by Pacquiao! Broner looks to be in trouble. Uppercut by Pacquiao! The onslaught continues but Broner should be able to survive it. He does! Barely. 69-64 Pacquiao.
