The first UFC event of the year was broadcast on a mix of ESPN and ESPN+ and was headlined by a fight between UFC Bantamweight Champion, TJ Dillashaw, and UFC Flyweight Champion, Henry Cejudo, for the 125lb title. The rest of the card was packed with interesting matchups as well such as Donald Cerrone versus Alexander Hernandez, Paige Van Zant versus Rachael Ostovich, and many more. It went down on January 19, 2019 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, United States.

On this episode of the show, Zane Simon joins Flyin’ Brian J to discuss the nights violence and nonsensical post-fight antics. For the VIDEO version of the show, click above or visit us at SBN MMA on YouTube, for the AUDIO version visit us at our BE Presents SoundCloud or iTunes channels.

This post-fight show is aimed at recapping all of the action from this event with the live viewer serving as the co-host. We go over post-fight ratings, talk about technique, discuss WTF moments from the card, and give out pretend bonuses.

As always, if you enjoyed our show, give us a “REC” and here on Bloody Elbow, or over on our BE Presents SoundCloud, YouTube, or iTunes channels or our SBN MMA YouTube – whichever one happens to be your listening platform of choice. And while you’re there, don’t forget to subscribe to Bloody Elbow Presents. That way you’ll always be the first to get all of BE’s daily MMA offerings.
