Amanda Nunes starched Cris Cyborg inside just 51 seconds at UFC 232, but some fans want to see a rematch.

As one of the most dominant female fighters of all-time, Cyborg — real name Cristiane Justino — feels she’s deserving of an immediate rematch.

Nunes, however, has no interest in running it back with Justino. ‘The Lioness’ became the first female double champ in UFC history at UFC 232 but is planning to abandon the 145-pound division and return to 135 lbs. to defend her bantamweight title.

UFC president Dana White didn’t comment on the specifics of Nunes’ situation but re-iterated that there will be no immediate rematch with Cyborg.

“There’s a reason we didn’t do it for a long time,” White said of Nunes vs Cyborg at the UFC Brooklyn pre-fight press conference, per BJPenn.com’s Drake Riggs. “It’s tough enough to defend one belt let alone two. Amanda’s going to have another fight. Cris is going to have another fight. We’ll see how that all plays out.”

The head promoter would be willing to book Nunes vs. Cyborg II should both fighters win their next fights, however.

“Listen, everybody has their opinions or what they think they want at that point in time but should they both win another fight, I think a rematch between them is huge.

“It’s a big fight, it’s an important fight,” White continued. “Neither one of them were crazy about the first time either but we got it done. So we’ll see how everything plays out.”

Following her win at UFC 232, Nunes surged into the top-ten pound-for-pound rankings and etched her name into the history books as one of the greatest fighters of all-time.
