UFC 228 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the dusty and final episode for this weekend’s big show in the Dallas, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.
Weigh-ins time. They show cameos of the main card fighters. The legendary Matt Serra is talking to Aljamain Sterling before he gets on the scale. A bunch of fighters successfully make weight. Darren Till comes in at 169 and flips everyone off for questioning him - “F—k them all”.
Tyron Woodley comes in at 171 and he’s surprised. Apparently he had heavy underwear though, because he makes 170 with a towel. Till and Woodley both talk about the cut in catering as they re-hydrate. Till says he made weight early and it’s never played out like that before.
Till greets Kamaru Usman, who would have replaced him if he didn’t make 170. Then it’s ceremonial weigh-ins. Everything goes smoothly. Till is ready for war, and he is a surprisingly effective fight promoter. Woodley says he’s the WW GOAT, and intends to keep it that way.
LET’S GO! UFC 228 kicks off in just a few minutes in Dallas.
