Today in London, England, one of the biggest heavyweight fights of the year is about to go down. Anthony Joshua, who holds every major heavyweight title outside of Deontay Wilder’s WBC belt, will take on the number three guy in the division, Alexander Povetkin.

Joshua is coming off a couple of outings that some saw as a bit underwhelming, but the undefeated (21-0, 20 KO) former Olympic gold medalist is one of the top stars in the sport and is looking to add to his accomplishments in front of approximately 80,000 fans in Wembley Stadium today.

Povetkin (34-1, 24 KO) is currently on an eight-fight winning streak, with his only career loss coming to Wladimir Klitschko back in 2013. The 39-year old is coming off a big knockout win over David Price.
The bout will be streamed live on DAZN in North America, with an approximate main event start time of 4:30pm ET/1:30pm PT. It can be ordered on Sky office PPV in the UK. The undercard kicks off at 1pm ET/10am PT.

Round 1 - Measured start. Povetkin with an overhand right that misses. Joshua sticks him with a jab. Body jabs from AJ. Povetkin moving and trying to get inside. Joshua lands to the body and scores with a left hook to the side of the head. Povetkin feinting and lands to the body himself. Hard jab from AJ. Joshua lands a two-punch combo, Povetkin fires back with a short counter left hook. Potvekin with an uppercut and lands a hook that sends Joshua stepping back a bit. 10-9 Joshua.
Round 2 - Povetkin opens the round with a right hook and Joshua’s nose is bleeding. AJ lands a body jab. Another. Povetkin throws a combo and lands the last punch, another left hook. AJ cracks back with a jab. Snapping left and a body shot from Joshua. They clinch. A jumping left hook from Povetkin. He’s been surprisingly effective so far. Joshua with the hard jab again. Close round. I’ll go 10-9 Povetkin.
Round 3 - Povetkin goes to the body. Povetkin with the right and uppercut again. Joshua flurries back. Jab from Joshua. Quick left hook from Joshua. Povetkin returns it. Joshua with jab and a right. Jab from Povetkin. Another jab from Joshua. 10-9 Joshua.
Round 4 - They trade rights in close. Povetkin has a small cut above the left eyebrow. Might have come from a clash of heads. Jab from Joshua. Joshua misses with a lead right hook. Joshua with a jab and a lead right. Povetkin misses with the uppercut. Povetkin with a right. Not a lot happened. 10-9 Joshua.
Round 5 - Joshua with a slapping left. He goes to the body again. They both missed with home run shots at the same time. Povetkin with a nice quick lead right. Another lands. Povetkin misses with a few different attempts. He lands to the body though. AJ ties him up. Joshua with a jab. 10-9 Povetkin.
Round 6 - Jab from Josuha, and a left hook. He’s flurrying a bit now. Povetkin tries to fire back but can’t connect. Povetkin lands over the top. Jab and a right again from Povetkin. AJ responds with a right. He lands hard again, but Povetkin hits the looping shot again. They battle in close. Body work from Joshua. Snapping left hook. He seems to be getting some rhythm now. Another left. Povetkin just misses with a hard left after an uppercut attempt. 10-9 Joshua.
Round 7 - Joshua immediately goes back to the body work again. Povetkin gets a left through. Jab from Joshua. Two right hooks from Povetin are blocked. Huge right hook lands for Joshua! A left! Povetkin is hurt! HE GOES DOWN! He tries to get up but falls into the ropes! The ref is letting him continue after he gets up before the count. Two more big shots and IT IS OVER! Povetkin fell down again as the ref stopped the fight. All it took was one big shot from AJ to change everything!
