UFC fighter rankings: Georges St-Pierre drops in P4P list, Lyoto Machida removed

As expected, UFC Singapore caused nary a ripple in the official UFC rankings. A few fights featured fighters that grace these lists, but no one was moving up majorly based on any of the outcomes. What did happen this week in the P4P list mostly has to do with the upcoming UFC 226 card. And Lyoto Machida’s move to Bellator saw the bottom of the middleweight rankings change. But that’s about it.

Regardless, let’s get onto the changes for this week.

P4P - Daniel Cormier moved up one spot to four. Georges St-Pierre dropped two spots, from a tie for three down to five.

Heavyweight - No changes.

Light Heavyweight - Shogun Rua dropped from a tie for seven down to eight on his own.

Middleweight - Machida formerly occupied the nine spot, so basically everyone below that moved up. Uriah Hall is up one to nine. Paulo Costa and Antonio Carlos Junior are up one to 10 and 11 respectively. Elias Theodorou is up one to 13. Krzysztof Jotko is up one to 14. And Cezar Ferreira enters the list at 15.

Welterweight - Leon Edwards’ big win in Singapore moved him up two spots to 11. The man he defeated, Donald Cerrone, dropped one to 12 and Gunnar Nelson is down one to 13.

Lightweight - No changes.

Featherweight - Myles Jury is up one to 12, dropping Zabit Magomedsharipov to 13.

Bantamweight - Bryan Caraway was removed from the rankings. We’re not sure why yet. So Cody Stamann is up two spots to nine. Rob Font is up one to 11. Thomas Almeida is up one to 12. Alejandro Perez is up two to 13. And former WEC champ Eddie Wineland re-enters the rankings at 15.

Flyweight - Ulka Sasaki re-enters the list at 15.

Women’s Bantamweight - No changes.

Women’s Flyweight - Jessica Eye’s win over Jessica-Rose Clark led them to flip-flop the nine and ten spots.

Women’s Strawweight - No changes.
