UFC 222 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the first episode for this weekend’s big show in Vegas, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.
In the mountains high above Albuquerque, UFC featherweight title challenger Yana Kunitskaya trains in the cold and snow with some Jackson-Wink people. She discusses her chance to fight champion Cris Cyborg, who she calls the best woman in MMA history.
Over in California, Cyborg is at church. She talks a bit about her faith. She also shows off her new Tesla.
Back at Jackson-Wink, Greg Jackson talks about Kunitskaya’s chances in the fight and that they’re going into it with no pressure. She then visits the chiropractor, who works out some nagging pain in her shoulder.
Off to Jersey. Edgar is at a wrestling meet for his son. He talks about the belt being his ultimate goal, but he’s happy that Brian Ortega stepped up and he’s ready to put on a show.
We return to Cali. Ortega discusses his neighborhood and what brought about the Edgar fight. At his house, he says he has a bedroom but usually sleeps on the floor in the living room. When asked why, he said he grew up sleeping on couches and the floor a lot, and a whole bed to himself feels like too much.
He shows off more of his place, which has some nice amenities.
And that’s it! UFC 222 goes down in Vegas this Saturday night.
