Ready the steak and eggs. Cue the coffee. Wake the baby. Okay, so maybe don’t wake up the baby, but the UFC Beijing card kicks off at 3:15 A.M. ET on November 23, 2018. And, just in case you’ve been clamoring for the betting odds, here they are.
UFC Beijing’s marquee matchup has top-5 heavyweights colliding for an interesting rematch. And Curtis Blaydes (-220) is once again favored over Francis Ngannou (+200). Their initial matchup took place in April of 2016, and had Blaydes opening up as a -140 betting favorite to Ngannou’s underdog mark of +100. Ngannou won their first encounter by injury TKO, with Blaydes unable to answer the bell in round three due to a severely swollen eye.
The oddsmakers have the prop bet Blaydes wins inside distance at a favored line of -122, with Ngannou wins inside distance coming in with an underdog tag of +200. Blaydes wins by TKO/KO barely sits in the underdog realm at +100, with Blaydes wins by submission rocking a rad line of +1000. Ngannou wins by TKO/KO sports a hefty +240 and Ngannou wins by submission lives at an astronomical +1850.
In the co-main event slot, longtime MMA veteran Alistair Overeem (+110) will play the role of underdog to UFC newcomer Sergey Pavlovich (-120). Overeem wasn’t always the underdog for this fight, however. He opened up with a betting line of -135. Pavlovich opened up as a -105 favorite, before eventually dropping down to -120, sending Overeem into underdog territory.
The UFC Fight Night: Blaydes vs. N’Gannou 2 main card will air live on FS1 at 6:30 A.M. ET with the prelims starting at 3:15 A.M. ET on Fight Pass.
