The UFC’s #10 welterweight Santiago Ponzinibbio annihilated the #8 ranked Neil Magny in the UFC Argentina main event. Ponzinibbio brought the power to Magny throughout the first round, backing him up and making him defend for pretty much the whole time. Magny was dropped with several leg kicks throughout the second round and also ate some damaging blows to the face. A bad cut was opened up above the left eye of Ponzinibbio, which he told the referee was caused by a clash of heads. The leg kicks of Ponzinibbio continued to tenderize the lead leg of Magny into the third and fourth acts, again rendering him defensive, before a big right caused Magny to faceplant and end the fight.
