Video: Mayweather opponent Nasukawa steamrolls Taiki Naito in latest kickboxing fight

Floyd Mayweather would be wise not to underestimate opponent Tenshin Nasukawa, as the 20-year-old kickboxing champion is a natural phenom.

With multiple world titles to his name and a slew of highlight reel knockout victories, Nasukawa is taking the Japanese combat sports world by storm and has all the makings of a superstar.

In his latest outing under the RISE banner, the featherweight kickboxing champ steamrolled opponent Taiki Naito inside the first round to earn yet another impressive stoppage victory.

@Jolassanda uploaded the footage to Twitter.

A 16-year-old Nasukawa also knocked out Naito with a headkick back in 2015.

Although kicks are reportedly prohibited in his upcoming boxing exhibition with Mayweather at Rizin’s annual NYE event, Nasukawa has dynamite in his hands and should not be taken lightly. The Tokyo-based fighter has nothing to lose.

After an initial ‘misunderstanding’, Mayweather and RIZIN have come to an agreement and announced that the fight is back on for New Year’s Eve.

The blockbuster event will take place on Dec. 31 at Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. This will mark Floyd’s first ever fight outside of the US.
