The PFL (Professional Fighters League) returns this week for the 2018 Playoffs out of Washington, DC. It’s one of the last three cards of the year, which will decide the $1 million tournament champions for each weight class. This week’s PFL card promises to be full of action with fourteen fights on the card. We will have 4 Quarterfinals and 2 Semifinals in the Welterweight division, and 4 Quarterfinals and 2 Semifinals in the Middleweight division. Abus Magomedov ranked #1 vs. #8 Gasan Umalatov headlines. #1 Ray Cooper vs #8 Jake Shields highlights the co-main event. The organization’s format has dragged some stunningly entertaining performances out of fighters with their unique format, so hopefully this event can do the same, despite most tournament spots already sewn up.
