UFC 208 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the first episode for this weekend’s big show in Brooklyn, and it serves as a brief introduction to the title contestants, a legend, and an up-and-coming middleweight.
The episode starts off in sunny Rio, where UFC Hall of Famer Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, UFC welterweight Warlley Alves, and a few coaches sing the praises of the man, the myth - Anderson Silva. Alves tells them to document his few words - “The star is back.”
After that, things move to New Mexico to show a little training with Holly Holm before she goes for a run and talks about visualizing her fight. Next up is her opponent, Germaine de Randamie, who is doing media in her native Holland. They show her goofing off with a TV reporter, and talk to her coaches a bit as well.
Finally, Derek Brunson and his family attend a beauty pageant his daughter is a contestant in (spoiler - she wins).
UFC 208 goes down February 11th in Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
