PBC Boxing presents a special late afternoon event on broadcast television today. The featured fight sees arguably the best prospect in boxing today in action, as Errol Spence, Jr. (20-0; 17 KO) takes on veteran Leonard Bundu (33-1-2; 12 KO). Spence is a former US Olympian who has been hailed as the next big thing as of late. This is a key fight for the undefeated fighter, as a win here makes him the mandatory challenger for Kell Brook's world title - that fight would be the first shot at a major title in the young career of Spence. Bundu should not pose much of a threat to Spence.
The only other fight announced to be televised from the card is a women's match pitting Heather Hardy against Shelly Vincent. Hardy vs. Vincent will air on NBCSN later that night at 9:00 p.m. ET. You'll need to tune in today to see if any other fights are aired on NBC prior to Spence vs. Bundu.
Premier Boxing Champion Spence vs. Bundu airs live on NBC today, Sunday August 21 with a fight time of 5:00 p.m. ET. For more on the card, check out our Bloody Elbow fight breakdown, and also follow our colleagues at Bad Left Hook.
