Like a group of Middle School boys or a Syfy original movie, in our last BE Baddest we debated an important question: who wins - a Beast or a Monster? The answer: THE BEAST. #6 seed Dan "The Beast" Severn pulled off the upset come from behind win to topple #3 Kevin "The Monster" Randleman by a score of 38-32. A special shout-out to Ben Kohn, who gets credited for the assist for his very compelling pro-Seven argument in the comments. Next up for Severn will be an even greater challenge as he takes on Randy Couture in more old-school action.
Today, we bring things into the modern era with a 4 vs 5 battle. At #4, it's Middleweight contender Yoel Romero. His opponent is #5 ranked former UFC Heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez. Winner moves on to face the winner of Ben Askren vs, Josh Koscheck.
