Saturday night, Juan Manuel Lopez took on former WBO super bantamweight champ Wilfredo Vasquez Jr. in Puerto Rico. The former two-division champion in Lopez stopped his opponent late in their 12-round contest, after Vasquez was unable to defend himself from a barrage of punches.
The TKO win stopped a two fight skid for Lopez, but the victory wasn’t the most notable thing from the night. The real highlight was what he did immediately after getting the finish.
While Vasquez was still on the floor, Lopez immediately decided to charge at the corner and ended up in a brawl with the opposing coach. Both men landed shots at each other, and you can watch the crazy sequence below.
Security, officials, and coaches filled the ring to try and stop the brawl from escalating, and after everything was dispersed, the two fighters managed to reconcile and hug it out.
