Alex Nicholson hasn't exactly had the best start to his UFC career. After losing his debut to Misha Cirkunov in February, he did manage to get a KO win over Devin Clark in July. In September though, he was busted for saying some racially insensitive things while cornering Mike Perry, and was also investigated for a domestic violence incident.
Regardless, he has a fight with Sam Alvey coming up. When a former Alvey opponent, Elias Theodorou, was asked about the matchup on Twitter, he decided to pick Alvey. And since both him and Nicholson are nicknamed The Spartan, he threw in a little jab. Then the floodgates opened, with Nicholson taking exception. It was game on from there.
Just a heads up - there's some salty language in here.
After about a dozen more tweets from Nicholson talking about Theodorou's hair and other spartan-like things, Theodorou started coming back at him again:
I think if we're going to the judges on this one, Theodorou wins a wide unanimous decision. Just another day on Twitter, folks.
