Video: TMZ asks Anderson Silva about Donald Trump wanting Hillary Clinton drug tested

Former UFC Middleweight king, Anderson Silva, was asked for his opinion on US presidential candidate Donald Trump’s suggestion that himself and Hillary Clinton be drug tested before their October 19th debate. Here’s the entire uncomfortable exchange:

TMZ: "There’s a big story today where Donald Trump thinks he and Hillary should be forced to take, uh, a drug test before the next date. As a pro athlete in a sport with a lot of testing, do you think this is a good idea?"

Throughout this entire question Anderson is wearing his best "Why are you asking me about this?" face. He either doesn’t quite understand the question, or he’s trying to avoid contributing to the degenerate tabloid tone of the question, and gives a polite answer about how important the election is.

Anderson: "So, uh, you know, this is the big problem. United States lived a great story now, and the people need to pay attention for everything, because [for] eight years a new president could come, no? I think it’s very important. Very, very important - for everything."

The TMZ reporter won’t let him off that easily, though. He wants the UFC guy to talk about Hillary Clinton on PEDs, dammit!

TMZ: "You think they should be tested?"

Anderson: "I don’t know. I don’t know."

Anderson is now wearing a "Wait, are you serious?" grin on his face as the TMZ reporter continues to push for a quote about drugs.

TMZ: "Let’s say… 'Cause I think [Donald Trump] thinks that Hillary is on some kind of PEDs, like amphetamines or something."

Anderson: "I don’t think so. I think this is terrible, and definitely all bullshit. I think Hillary is a great woman, and [could become] a great president to the United States."

Yes, Anderson, you are correct: this is definitely all bullshit - both the suggestion that Hillary Clinton is on drugs, and the idea that a pro athlete should be asked to weigh in on her potential drug testing.
