Dana White: If Rousey beats Nunes, 'the Cyborg fight will definitely happen'

The major news on Wednesday is the return of former UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey, who will fight current champion Amanda Nunes in the UFC 207 main event, on December 30th. Dana White made the announcement on FS1's The Herd with Colin Cowherd, and during his interview, the topic of Rousey fighting Cris Cyborg was brought up. When asked by Cowherd why the Invicta FC featherweight champion wasn't fighting Rousey, he had this to say.

"I know that Cyborg wants that fight," White said. "Ronda wants that fight, too. Ronda's plan right now is to come back and try to win her title back, and if that happens, the Cyborg fight will definitely happen."

Cyborg already voiced her displeasure over the Nunes-Rousey booking, which you can read here. As far as the idea of Cyborg fighting Rousey immediately after the Nunes fight (if Rousey wins, of course), it looks as if Dana has squashed that.
