Cristiane "Cyborg" Justino did not take kindly to the (since confirmed) reports about Ronda Rousey coming back after a year away from the Octagon to take on UFC women’s bantamweight champion, Amanda Nunes, on December 30.
In a lengthy Instagram post, Cyborg numbered all the reasons why she's against the fight and why she thinks a possible fight with Rousey will never actually come to fruition.

"This is why my fight with Ronda Rousey will never happen.
I just got back from Thailand and it seems that Ronda Rousey vs. Amanda Nunes, for the belt, on December 30, was announced on the internet.
It’s ridiculous that Ronda is getting a title shot after being beat up by Holly and after taking a year off. This will only support the story about Ronda being a media product.
Ronda is benefited by the company’s brand more than any other fighter has ever existed. She has benefited from the best interviews, the best sponsors, the best fight promoting advertisement and spotlights. But even with all of that to back her up, we still saw she was not the best.
There’s a reason why Ronda is not coming back to fight Holly Holm, and it’s not the fact that Holm is now 0-2 since their fight. The reason is that even Ronda knows that Holly is the better fighter. Styles make fights and it’s the same reason why she will never take a fight against me. She knows my punches, my size, and my aggressiveness.
I only moved to 140lbs to try and make a fight with Ronda possible. I left my weight class behind this year, in order to make super fights. Unlike Conor McGregor, my super fights were not against big name opponents and just like Jose Aldo, there are plenty of fighters ready to fight me for the belt, like Megan Anderson, Cindy Dandois, Julia Budd and Alexis Dufresne.
I can’t force anyone to take a fight against me. Ronda can keep using her steroids excuse to avoid me. But I’ve been proving everyone wrong. I was the only athlete who accepted to be tested by the USADA one year prior to my UFC debut.
Ronda never fought to earn her UFC belt. She got it at a press conference and in her first defense, she didn’t even face the number one contender. "
Cyborg debuted in the UFC in May 2016, when she knocked out Leslie Smith in the first round. She came back against Lina Lansberg and scored a second-round TKO in last month’s UFC Brasilia main event.
