Not unlike the world of MMA, the city of La Crosse, Wisconsin is experiencing a news week that is a little on the slow side. Along with the smattering of election coverage coming out of the current ‘battleground state’ is an under-the-radar story courtesy of local news station 1410 WIZM, via the La Crosse Police Department.
On Monday the La Cross PD released grainy footage of a man they would like the public’s help identifying. “Early Sunday morning, this Mixed Martial Artist picked a fight with the Main Street Ramp parking gate arm,” said the police in a tongue-in-cheek statement that accompanied the video.
"As you can see, it was a hard-fought battle. However, the gate eventually succumbed to the skill of the MMA fighter, but not before sending him to the ground at least once. Seriously though, we would appreciate your help in identifying this ninja master.”
