He's back. Jon Jones, who is renowned for making trivial posts on social media and then deleting them, appears to be back to his old ways.

The pound-for-pound #1 recently made a video post on Instagram making fun of Daniel Cormier but deleted it shortly after. "Bones" included a clip of Cormier from the weigh-ins of UFC 182, where the 28-year-old defeated "DC" to retain the light-heavyweight championship in the main event.

"It's very telling that these people cheer for me and they don't even like me, they just hate Jon Jones," Cormier said to Joe Rogan at the weigh-ins (transcription via MMAFighting). Jones went on to repeat Cormier's words in a mocking tone, suggesting that the current LHW champion was acting like a baby.

The Jackson-Winkeljohn product was stripped of his 205 lbs. title and suspended last year after his involvement in a hit-and-run incident. In his absence, Cormier seized the vacant title by defeating Anthony Johnson at UFC 187 and went on to defend it against Alexander Gustafsson at UFC 192.

Jones was recently sentenced to 18-months probation and is officially permitted to compete at UFC events.

While no date or venue has been set, it's expected that Jones will take on Cormier in a rematch to retain the light-heavyweight belt.
