Dana White scored UFC 195 title fight for Carlos: 'I had it 3-2 Condit'

At this point the narrative is pretty well set in stone. On the night, at the time, most people had Carlos Condit beating Robbie Lawler, 3-2. Since then, those with the time and interest to re-watch and re-score the fight have found the potential that Robbie Lawler could have won rounds 2, 3, & 5. Eventually, the major swing point of the fight seems to come down to, how do you score round 3, where both fighters had some success, neither came close to finishing the fight, and the trick is parsing Condit's volume from Lawler's power.

If your UFC president Dana White, it seems that his vote goes the way of Carlos Condit, as White admitted during the post-fight presser that he had the "Natural Born Killer" taking round 3 (transcript via MMAFighting).

"I had it 3 to 2 Condit," White said at the post-fight press conference. "But I'm not a judge, so nobody probably gives a shit what I think. That's how I had it. "
...
"Lawler was winning that round early and then kind of shut down and didn't do much the rest of the third round," White said.
...
"The fight was awesome. I thought Carlos Condit fought the fight of his life tonight."

And while officially, to use White's own words, "nobody probably gives a shit" what he thinks, fighters on the losing end of decisions that White & Co. thought they won have often found themselves a bit better off financially for it. So, at the very least, Carlos Condit might be happy to know that Dana White thought he deserved that decision, even if he didn't get it.
