Former UFC light heavyweight, Anthony Perosh, may have recently put a bow on a 12 year MMA career, but it doesn't mean he's not still regularly appearing in Submission Radio's "Technique of the Week" to demonstrate his knowledge.
This week, "The Hippo" shows off a simple heel hook that you can use on your opponent when you're in their guard. The move is dangerous and puts a tremendous amount of pressure on your opponent's knee, so be sure to release it when they tap.
If you missed his last technique (Armbar from mount), you can check it out here.
Perosh is a BJJ black belt under Carlos Machado and finished his professional MMA career with a 15-10 record.
Submission Radio posts technique videos every Wednesday, demonstrating a variety of moves from BJJ, MMA, boxing, kickboxing, wrestling, Muay Thai, Sambo, and much more.
