While there has been a bit of tension between Eddie Alvarez and Nate Diaz as of late, another top ranked lightweight has voiced out his opinion on the former title contender from Stockton. Khabib Nurmagomedov offered his thoughts on why everyone has been asking for a bout against Diaz, and says he doesn't mind getting in on the action himself.
Khabib is undefeated in 22 bouts, and already has a win over the current champion in Rafael Dos Anjos. He was in line for a title eliminator last May, but another knee injury has sidelined him. He hasn't competed in over a year, and targets a return by late 2015.
Diaz on the other hand, has lost 3 of his last 4, and has dropped out of the UFC rankings. Interestingly enough, he's still a big enough name that most of these top 5 guys are still constantly calling him out.
