UFC fighter rankings: Holly Holm in the top 10 following win in her UFC debut

Jayne Kamin-Oncea-USA TODAY Sports

There wasn't much activity in the latest UFC rankings update, but that's understandable given how UFC 184 was stripped of multiple fights featuring at least one ranked combatant. Perhaps the biggest question pertaining to the rankings was where Holly Holm would be slotted after she picked up a split decision win over Raquel Pennington in the co-main event. As it turned out, the voters saw it fit to put her in the top 10, three spots higher than when she came in on Saturday.

You can see the full rankings here. To view the individual ballots of each panelist, click on the dropdown menu that says "voting panelists" and you'll even see one ballot that actually has Holm ranked at #1 and Cat Zingano down to #8. The Bloody Elbow representative in the rankings is Fraser Coffeen.

Pound-For-Pound: No changes

Women's Strawweight: No changes

Flyweight: No changes

Bantamweight: No changes

Women's Bantamweight: Holly Holm rises to 10th, which actually drops Marion Reneau two spots to 12th. Reneau is now below Jessica Andrade, who she literally just defeated last week. Julianna Pena dips to 13th.

Featherweight: No changes

Lightweight: Tony Ferguson makes his debut in the top 15, coming in at #13. Dropping out of the rankings (again) is Nate Diaz, while Jorge Masvidal and Al Iaquinta occupy the last two spots. Eddie Alvarez swaps places with Bobby Green, with Alvarez moving to 10th and Green dropping to 11th.

Welterweight: Kelvin Gastelum drops two more spots to 11th as his impending middleweight move seems to be causing his drop. Dong Hyun Kim and Jake Ellenberger respectively now are in 9th and 10th.

Middleweight: Anderson Silva falls an additional 3 spots to 5th, which I'm assuming is related to the failed drug test. Lyoto Machida moves into a 1st place tie with Ronaldo Souza, while Vitor Belfort assumes 3rd spot and Luke Rockhold takes 4th. Mark Munoz is out of the rankings entirely and the man who beat him, Roan Carneiro, replaces him at 15th. Tim Boetsch and Brad Tavares climb up to 13th and 14th, respectively.
