Fantasy booking is a passion for many fight fans. It's not as easy as it used to be though, since most of the top talent is in the UFC. Now it's much more focused on fighters from different divisions - how would the flyweight champ do against the bantamweight champ? Or featherweight vs. lightweight?
F4Online.com, which is the site that runs Dave Meltzer's Wrestling Observer newsletter, recently conducted an interesting poll about what would be the biggest fight the UFC could realistically book at the moment. Forget Fedor Emelianenko and Brock Lesnar - there are three bouts that are realistically possible, and any of them could potentially be a big win for the UFC.
The three selected for the poll are fairly easy to figure out - LHW champ Jon Jones vs. HW champ Cain Velasquez; Jones vs. MW champ Chris Weidman; or women's bantamweight champ Ronda Rousey vs. her nemesis, Cris Cyborg. Here are the current results of their poll, which is still open for a little while:
Jones vs. Cain - 504 votes (39.2%)
Rousey vs. Cyborg - 475 votes (36.9%)
Jones vs Weidman - 307 votes (23.9%)
So I figured we could do our own poll. I know that you'll want to include other fights, but realistically these are the top three options so this is what we're going to go with. Which one is the biggest potential fight?
