Claudia Gadelha was finally scheduled to challenge reigning strawweight champion Joanna Jędrzejczyk in a long-awaited rematch, but a thumb injury left the Brazilian unable to compete for the remainder of the year. This allowed Valerie Létourneau to replace her as the next title challenger.

However, the injury did not stop Gadelha from teasing Joanna on social media. An active user of Instagram, Claudia posed with the UFC belt and called Joanna "Gollum", the character from "The Lord of The Rings."

'Doesn't it look more beautiful than with Gollum?', said Gadelha.

Meanwhile, Joanna is set to defend her belt against Valerie Létourneau at UFC 193. The card will be headlined by women's bantamweight title fight between Ronda Rousey and Holly Holm, which will make this the first time a main event and co-main event are taken by female fighters in the UFC.
