Road FC's 27th major event is shaping up nicely as the Korean-based promotion has added even more popular fighters for their inaugural trip to Shanghai, China.

BloodyElbow.com has learned that Japanese star and Super Hulk champion Ikuhisa Minowa will be making a return with Road FC as he competes for a whopping 108th time in his career. Minowaman, who is known for taking on much larger men, will instead be competing at light heavyweight against local star and former RUFF champ Zhao Zilong. The contest is expected to be made official soon.

Minowaman has compiled a record of 60-39-8 in his career that started back in 1996. The 39-year-old has competed for just about every major organization that has made its way to Japan, and has gone 3-2 in bouts under the Road FC banner.

Zhao on the other hand, is a decorated Sanda champion who made the switch to MMA and eventually won the RUFF light heavyweight title. He has a record of 9-3 online, although it is interesting to note that databases aren't complete for most Chinese fighters who regularly compete in regional shows that don't get covered by English-speaking outlets.

Road FC's first event in China will also feature stars from the Asian scene in TUF Winner Zhang Lipeng and former K-1 star Mighty Mo.
