Parke steals show at UFC Dublin weigh-ins, throws handbag at Madadi

It is rare occurrence when ‘Stormin' Norman Parke is the most talked about fighter ahead of a UFC show, but that is exactly the case following his antics at the UFC Dublin weigh-ins on Friday.

Parke, who is scheduled to face the recently re-signed Iranian-Swedish fighter Reza Madadi on Saturday, arrived at the weigh-ins armed with a pink handbag that he threw at Madadi's feet before their rowdy staredown.

The handbag is a reference to Madadi's 14-month stint in jail for aggravated burglary. Madadi, along with two associates, smashed into a luxury handbag store, looted the ostentatious goods and then peeled away into a neighboring town. Madadi and one of his associates were later arrested but Madadi was the only one who was convicted.

The fighter vehemently maintained his innocence.

UFC Dublin takes place Saturday afternoon in Dublin, Ireland.
