On Friday, women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey, who is known to bulk up to 150 lbs. between fights, slammed Hollywood for criticizing her weight.
"I swear to God. If anyone calls me fat one more time in my life, I’m going to kill them," Rousey said yesterday.
Female rival Cristiane "Cyborg" Justino responded in a Facebook post and claimed Ronda's comments were hypocritical. The Invicta FC featherweight champion said "Rowdy" and Dana White have used the media to bully her in the past, citing White's remarks about Cyborg looking like "Wanderlei Silva in a dress and heels" at the MMA awards.
The Olympic bronze medalist has referred to Cyborg as an "it" in the past and has repeatedly called her out for using steroids. "In a perfect world, she would be a girl and not an it," Rousey said last year. The Brazilian tested positive for stanozolol, an anabolic steroid, in 2012 and was subsequently banned for one-year.
Justino last fought at Invcita FC 13 in July, where she knocked out Faith Van Duin in the 1st round to retain her featherweight title.
Ronda Rousey is set to take on the undefeated Holly Holm at UFC 193 on November 14th at Etihad Stadium in Melbourne, Australia.
