Robert Drysdale not cut, despite Dana White's assertions that he had been

It looks like Robert Drysdale hasn't gotten his official walking papers... yet. Even though, the UFC brass was pretty sure he was already gone. Drysdale failed his second UFC drug test following his first UFC fight, a first round submission win over Keith Berish at the TUF 19 Finale. Dana White spoke at the UFC Fight Night Macau post fight presser about Drysdale's drug test failures. Here's what he had to say when asked about the fighter's release.

"You mean, has he been cut? I'm pretty sure he's been cut."

However, just a few hours after the story broke, John Morgan of MMAJunkie was able to confirm that Drysdale had not, in fact been released from the Zuffa promotion. He posted the news via Twitter.

Since Morgan's update, MMAFighting was able to get in touch with Drysdale and confirm that he was still with the UFC. However, given Dana White's previous assurances that he wasn't, Drysdale's stay of execution may have only been temporary.
