While Dana White is currently interested in matching up Weidman with the #2 ranked middleweight, Belfort of course, still has some issues to clear up with the athletic commission stemming from a failed random drug test and a subsequent TRT ban.
There will still be questions on how he performs without Testosterone Replacement Therapy, but the surging 37-year-old has earned his top ranking coming off three straight brutal knockout wins over Michael Bisping, Dan Henderson, and Luke Rockhold.
