Rafael Suanes-US PRESSWIRE

After being out for an extended period, Amir Sadollah will finally make a return against Sweden's Nico Musoke in his home country. As officials have announced, the bout will be part of the UFC Fight Night 53 line up on October 4.

When the TUF 7 winner finally steps back in the cage, it will be over 2 years since he last competed in the Octagon. His last outing, a 2012 decision loss to now UFC color commentator, Dan Hardy. Various injuries have sidelined this once promising prospect, but the 33-year-old finally has a chance to get back on the horse and continue a career that already seen him produce quality stoppages over current top ranked fighters such as Matt Brown and C.B. Dollaway.

Musoke on the other hand, will also look to get back on track while adding another name to his resume. After a successful run at the European circuit, he has gone 2-1 in the UFC with wins over Alessio Sakara and Viscardi Andrade. He's coming off a decision loss to Kelvin Gastelum, who wasn't able to make the welterweight limit when they faced off last June.

Additional bouts for the Sweden card are expected to be announced soon, but it certainly won't have their poster boy on it, as Gustafsson recently suffered an injury that will have him out for months.
