Newly crowned UFC champion T.J. Dillashaw wasn't in the original EA Sports UFC video game roster, as for some reason, they chose other bantamweights such as Mike Easton or Erik Perez over the Team Alpha Male star.
They obviously had no way to predict that Dillashaw would have that meteoric rise that saw him get a title shot and defeat Renan Barao, but when it did happen, it left them in an awkward spot having to release a video game without the current champion on the roster. As expected though, EA Sports was now able to rectify the problem during a free update that has added Dillashaw along with two other fighters in Tyron Woodley and Takeya Mizugaki.
"So pumped to be in a video game," Dillashaw said on social media, "A wish of mine when I was a kid playing all the EA Sports games."

As for other notable snubs that they could possibly add for future updates, top ranked contenders such as Matt Brown, Anthony Johnson, Tim Kennedy, Hector Lombard, Dong Hyun Kim, Raphael Assuncao, and Alex Caceres could be fun additions to the game.
Flyweight Chris Cariaso also isn't in the line up, and if the Filipino-American manages to do a 'Dillashaw' and pull off the upset on his somewhat surprising title shot against Demetrious Johnson, EA Sports could then be placed on a similar situation.
