While many featherweights have shown bitter disregard for Conor McGregor and his recent octagon success, Dennis Bermudez is one of the few who admits that the Irishman's starpower has him "slightly jealous."
"I really don't care what he's doing," Bermudez told Submission Radio. "He can run his mouth all he wants, and I actually, my hat slightly goes off to him to be able to created the buzz that he's created around himself. I'm almost slightly jealous, you know. I'm on a 6 fight win streak and no one's talking about me and this guy has two fights in the UFC and hundreds of thousands of followers you know, just because he talks a crazy game, but that's not why I got into fighting."
Bermudez is currently riding a six-fight unbeaten streak, which include wins over Matt Grice, Max Holloway, Steven Siler and Jimy Hettes. The featherweight has also won four post-fight bonuses in the process, which is why he argues that his in-cage performances will ultimately make the difference against McGregor.

Bermudez is scheduled to meet Clay Guida at this weekend's UFC On FOX 12 fight card in San Jose, California.
