UFC Featherweight Conor McGregor isn't one to be shy about his opinions. There's been an ongoing war of words between FW champ Jose Aldo and #1 contender Chad Mendes following the cancellation of their UFC 176 bout which has degenerated into a lot finger-pointing and accusations about mutual steroid abuse. McGregor has already ripped Mendes for his part in that but now he's expanding his comments to a more general statement about performance enhancing drugs in advance of his UFC Dublin bout with Diego Brandao this Saturday.
Here's what McGregor told MMA Junkie:
"I don't really care about that stupid s-t. I'm just doing my thing. I'm just performing and getting better. I don't care what anyone else does.
"Take whatever you want," McGregor said. "I'm still going to whoop your a-."
Big words. McGregor will presumably be tested by the UFC on Saturday. I wonder if he'll be fighting in a random drug test state any time soon.
