The card's still pretty up in the air but here's what we've got so far for the early August PPV:
Featherweight Jose Aldo vs. Chad Mendes
Women's Bantamweight Bethe Correia vs. Shayna Baszler
Flyweight Jussier Formiga vs. Zach Makovsky
Lightweight Gray Maynard vs. Fabricio Camoes
Middleweight Derek Brunson vs. Lorenz Larkin
Lightweight Walmir Lazaro vs. James Vick
Clearly they're planning on the Featherweight title rematch between Nova Uniao's Aldo and Team Alpha Male's Mendes to carry the card. Aldo KO'd Mendes with a beautiful spinning knee to the face in their first meeting at UFC 142 in January 2012.
Aldo had previously beaten Team Alpha Male founder Urijah Faber for the WEC FW title (now the UFC strap) in April 2010 at WEC 48, that promotion's only PPV.
Since then Aldo's Nova Uniao teammate Renan Barao has lost the Bantamweight title to Team Alpha Male's T.J. Dillashaw. Dillashaw's win avenged two Faber losses to Barao.
Aldo will most definitely be looking for revenge in the hottest rivalry between camps since Chute Boxe vs. Brazilian Top Team back in the Pride days.
