It appears that top women's bantamweight fighter Holly Holm did not escape from her Legacy FC 30 main-event bout with Juliana Werner unscathed. Holm picked up a nice head-kick TKO win in the fifth round of her bout, which saw her claim the promotion's women's bantamweight title. But according to Southwest Fight News, Holm suffered a broken arm at some point in the bout:

Apparently, some time in the early rounds, possibly even the very first round, Holm would fracture her arm and the injury would dampen her ability to unleash punches to compliment her kicks for the remainder of the bout. Holm was spotted post-fight being placed into a sling and until now, we were unaware of the severity of the injury.

There was also an apparent x-ray of the arm included in the article, which came from a Facebook page.

Holm (7-0) recently sat down with the UFC in regards to her coming into the organization, but the promotion and her management could not come to an agreement. Holm is seen as a possible challenger for UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey.
