Scott Jorgensen could very well be fighting for his UFC career in Albuquerque on June 7th. The longtime WEC and UFC fighter will be meeting Danny Martinez at UFC Fight Night: Henderson vs. Khabilov. UFC News on twitter has the info:
Jorgensen (14-9) is just 1-5 in his last six, has lost three in a row, and dropped two of those since dropping to flyweight. His last loss via submission to Jussier Formiga where he collided heads with his opponent but the referee missed it. He appealed to the Brazilian commission but they decided not to overturn the fight.
Martinez (16-5) made his UFC debut against Chris Cariaso at UFC 169 but dropped a decision. He had previously fought once in the WEC as well.
The main event of UFC Fight Night: Albuquerque is a lightweight battle between former champ Ben Henderson and Rustam Khabilov.
