In the closest match yet so far in the tournament, #7 seed Matt Hughes pulled off the upset, squeaking by #2 seed Ronda Rousey. It was a close, back and forth contest, resulting in Hughes submitting Rousey by only a dozen votes; with a final result of 56-45 . That's the biggest upset yet in our BE Baddest series - it will be interesting to see just how far this 7 seed can go.

Once again, one of the fighters from this past weekend's UFC 170 sees action in today's tournament. This time, it's #1 tournament seed Demian Maia up to bat. Maia could not apply his grappling skills to get the win over Rory MacDonald Saturday night - can he turn his fortunes around here? Standing in his way is #8 seed Vitor Shaolin Ribeiro, a journeyman fighter with great credentials but only a handful of fights in the spotlight. Can the relatively unknown Shaolin topple the #1 seed? Your votes decide.
