As talked about earlier today, the UFC has brought back Quinton "Rampage" Jackson after an ugly separation a couple years ago. Jackson had been fighting for Bellator but has been vocally unhappy for the past several months and now has made the jump back.
However, Bellator has made it quite clear that they feel that he is still under contract with them. Bleacher Report's Jeremy Botter was tweeting that Rampage feels that Bellator was in breach of contract for not producing a planned reality show (among other things).
Bellator is claiming that the UFC and Rampage are violating the existing contract. It appears that this will play out in court. All of this is, of course, taking place as things are starting to develop regarding fighters suing the UFC in an antitrust case.
So, it will be interesting to see if one ties into the other over the coming year of legal developments.
