The biggest development in the UFC rankings over the weekend was the inclusion of the women's strawweight division. Carla Esparza was crowned the inaugural divisional champion, while the rest of the TUF 20 Finale was a showcase for the season's cast members. On the men's side, Rafael dos Anjos cemented himself as joint top contender along with Khabib Nurmagomedov following his beatdown of Nate Diaz. It is likely that dos Anjos receives his title shot against Anthony Pettis in 2015.

Flyweight: John Moraga edges ahead of Jussier Formiga for 4th by beating Willie Gates, who was Formiga's replacement on two weeks notice. I do not understand why this justified moving Moraga up. Chico Camus also improves to 14th while Louis Gaudinot rounds out the list.
